ATADA Theft Alert

Sunshine Studio is forwarding this e-mail in the hope that one of youmay see and report some of these stolen items.

During the night of December 18-19, 2006, a home wasburglarized in Eagar, AZ. Several Navajo rugs, an Acoma seed jar, fourHopi pots, and numerous other American Indian and non-Indian items were taken.

Images of the stolen items are posted at
http://www.atada.org/theft.html#Eagar .

The lesson from our theft alerts is clear - if there are items on the ATADA theft alert page, they are very difficult to sell, and must be kept out of sight, even in a home collection. Note that there is no statute of limitations on stolen property in the USA. Let the buyer beware!

Please look at these images and check anything that is offered to you against theimages on the ATADA Theft Alert page.

Please forward this e-mail to your colleagues and friends as our e-mail mailing list is incomplete.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Arch Thiessen, ATADA Webmaster
